AVS Sites |

| An
AVS site is usually the next step up from a free site. With censorship
increasing, AVS is starting to look like the best way to go.
Adult Verification Systems work by offering the surfer hundreds of thousands of uncensored sites, but only after they purchase a password for around $20-30 a year. When you make an AVS site, it is one of the many thousands available to the surfer through the use of their password. Your aim is to make them join the AVS through your site, and thus earn a percentage of their yearly fee. A standard AVS site is pretty much the same as a free site, only it usually features unrestricted hardcore. You are allowed to feature two or three ads per page, and you are required to have around 30 pics. To make an AVS site, you simply build a site as before, making certain it adheres to the rules of the AVS. On top of that you add a one or two page "tour", promoting what is inside your site. You then join the AVS webmaster section and your site is reviewed. The AVS then provides you with code to place on your front page, with your webmaster ID embedded in it to track sales (some AVS provide the code before they review the site, while others can take weeks to get back to you). You are reviewed to make sure the site meets their standards, and also so you can be placed on their link list. Being listed is not necessarily good - remember, there are thousands of AVS members who can now access your site with their password, even though you didn't receive a kickback from it. Advertising paysites to AVS users is a little more difficult than attracting the usual newbie surfer through a free site. In this case, the surfer has already paid for smut and may not wish to spend more. Your job is to convince them that paysites offer far better quality porn, including videos and live sex, and that the extra money is worth it for the good stuff. Alternatively you can seek to make cash through advertising non-porn stuff like Internet Eraser, Bedroomsports sex toys or even Amazon books. Most AVS services offer three tiers of AVS sites. The first level is basic, 30 pic sites like I've just discussed. They then progress to minimum 300 pic "Diamond" or "Gold" sites and then onto 1000 minimum "Ultra" or "Platinum" sites. The latter requires monthly membership and is almost equivalent to running a paysite. At this point in time, you're most likely to only be making first-level AVS sites. |
